Mismatched is designed for intentional, respectful, and meaningful dating.
These Community Guidelines exist to protect that experience.

By using Mismatched, you agree to follow these rules both on and off the app when interacting with people you meet through Mismatched. Violations may result in warnings, feature restrictions, suspension, or permanent removal without refund.

There are no loopholes. Intent matters. Impact matters more.

1. CONSENT IS NON-NEGOTIABLE

Every interaction on Mismatched must be consensual, welcome, and mutual.

Not allowed:

• Unwanted sexual comments, messages, innuendo, or advances
• Pressuring someone to respond, meet, share photos, or continue a conversation
• Sexual content sent without clear, enthusiastic consent
• Guilt-tripping, persistence after rejection, or “just joking” defenses

Consent can be withdrawn at any time.
If someone says no, stops responding, or appears uncomfortable stop immediately.

2. RESPECT COMES FIRST 

Mismatched is not a place for hostility, superiority, or cruelty.

Zero tolerance for:

• Harassment, bullying, threats, intimidation, or humiliation
• Hate speech or discrimination based on race, caste, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, appearance, or background
• Slut-shaming, body-shaming, moral policing, or character attacks
• Doxxing, stalking, or monitoring someone across platforms

If someone isn’t your type, unmatch and move on.
Disrespect is never justified by “honesty” or “preferences.”

3. SAFETY IS DESIGNED IN 

Anything that compromises another user’s safety online or offline is prohibited.

This includes:

• Encouraging self-harm, violence, or dangerous behavior
• Sharing or requesting private information (phone numbers, addresses, financial details) prematurely or aggressively
• Recording, screenshotting, or sharing chats, images, or profiles without explicit permission
• Threats of exposure, blackmail, sextortion, or coercion

If we believe there is a risk of harm, we may intervene, restrict accounts, or involve appropriate support resources.

4. NO SEX WORK, TRANSACTIONS, OR “ARRANGEMENTS”

Mismatched is for genuine dating, not exchanges.

Not allowed:

• Escorting, prostitution, sugar relationships, paid companionship
• Requests for money, gifts, investments, crypto, or financial help
• Using the app to sell, promote, fundraise, recruit, or advertise
• Directing users off-platform for financial or transactional purposes

Any attempt to monetize connections will result in immediate action.

5. BE REAL OR DON’T BE HERE

Authenticity is mandatory.

You may not:

• Impersonate another person or create fake profiles
• Use heavily misleading photos or false information
• Run multiple accounts or share accounts
• Pretend intentions (e.g., serious dating while seeking casual exploitation)

One person. One account. One honest presence.

6. NO ILLEGAL OR EXPLOITATIVE ACTIVITY  

Strictly prohibited:

• Drugs, weapons, trafficking, or illegal services
• Exploitation of any kind, especially involving minors
• Any content involving sexual abuse, coercion, or non-consensual behavior
• Assistance or encouragement to break the law

Any violation here leads to immediate and permanent removal and may be reported to authorities.

7. ADULTS ONLY 

You must be 18 years or older to use Mismatched.

Not allowed:

• Photos of minors (including your younger self)
• Profiles created on behalf of someone else
• Any content involving or referencing minors sexually or romantically

We verify aggressively. There are no second chances here.

8. COMMUNICATE LIKE A HUMAN, NOT A THREAT

Healthy communication matters.

Not allowed:

• Repeated messaging after no response
• Manipulation, gaslighting, or emotional pressure
• Threatening to report, shame, or expose someone
• Using trauma, guilt, or sympathy to control conversations

If a conversation feels unsafe, uncomfortable, or draining you’re allowed to leave it.

9. NO SYSTEM ABUSE OR BAD-FAITH BEHAVIOR

You may not:

• Spam messages or links
• Submit false or malicious reports
• Use bots, automation, or third-party tools
• Attempt to game matching, visibility, or moderation systems
• Harass or threaten Mismatched staff or moderators

Bad-faith behavior results in escalating penalties.

10. REPORTING IS PROTECTED & CONFIDENTIAL

If something feels wrong, report it.

• Reports are confidential
• Retaliation for reporting is strictly prohibited
• We investigate patterns, not just single incidents
• Silence does not protect abusers reporting does

You help keep the community safe.

11. ENFORCEMENT & CONSEQUENCES

We take action based on behavior, patterns, intent, and impact.

Actions may include:

• Warnings or feature restrictions
• Temporary suspension
• Permanent ban (no refunds)
• Removal even for off-app behavior involving Mismatched users

We reserve the right to act without prior notice when safety is at risk.

OUR BOTTOM LINE

Mismatched is not for everyone and that’s intentional.

If you’re here to:

• Disrespect boundaries
• Exploit attention
• Chase validation or control
• Treat people as disposable

This is not your platform.
